Aww really, sound nothing fancy then…everyone is saying I need all kinds of tools and codes, do the caliper in a certain order etc. so did you just let them drain wheel by wheel and keep topping the tank up? |

Try just the rears and see how the pedal feels |

My understanding is that providing air doesn't get into the ABS block, just keep fluid in the reservoir and bleed as normal. If it's all drained out, then in common with all modern systems you will need a diagnostic tool to bleed the system. Start with the calliper furthest from the master cylinder and end with the closest. |

Much appreciated, fingers crossed air didn’t get in the block and I’ll try a full bleed tomorrow. Thanks for the advice all.

On my L320 I just installed Brembo 4 piston calipers I completely stripped and rebuilt as well as Brembo pads and rotors, completely stripped and rebuilt my rear calipers and installed Brembo pads as well as changed the brake fluid (Brembo DOT 4 LV). I screwed up and one of my rears went dry while gravity draining it. Topped up, vacuum pumped it, gravity bled and the brake pedal felt like garbage. Drove it the next day and everything bed in and pedal is back to normal. Well, the pedal feels better with the Brembo calipers, so I guess better than normal. 2011 RRS HSE Luxury 3.0 TDV6 Fuji White on Ebony/Ivory
