Oh well lessons learned I suppose, especially with black alloys. Photos just before it gets done and an immediate inspection afterwards. Can the tyres actually be changed without scuffing?, not being in the trade or having solid knowledge. Being pragmatic, they’re going to tell you to poke off after those miles…… 2006 2.7 TDV6 HSE in Cairns Blue. |

Sorry to hear your misfortune, always check your alloys before hey touch them and check again when they have fitted the new tyres.

Not at all, of course accidents happen, but I have never had damage done to wheels whilst changing tyres on BMWs with really low profile, discos or RRS. Unfortunately these days, there are too many that won’t own up to their mistake and leave it to you to notice Joined the X5 45e club

Like everything, with the correct tools and a proficient operator, there should be no damage.
