Hi rrsjo,

My LR button just opens the tailgate - it would be nice if it adjusted the seats as you say. Can that be re-programmed without visiting the dealer?

When you enable Lazy Entry, you basically dedicate one bank of driver seat memories (there are 3 of them, as you know) to each of the two key remotes provided with your car. So, your wife can memorize her favorite seat and side mirrors position(s) - up to three if she so desires with the buttons on the side of the seat - using remote # 2, and you can do the same with remote # 1. As long as you have Lazy Entry enabled (from the Settings menu in the instrument cluster), whenever you open the door with remote # 1 the seats and outside mirrors will adjust to your last used memory settings, and the same will happen when she uses remote # 2. So you can enable this feature without losing your capability of opening the tailgate remotely. However, Lazy Entry is useless if you are the only driver of the car and/or if you only use one remote, keeping the other one stored away in case you lose the original, like me... Smile
