Mine's in today for 1st service and I've asked him if it can be done whilst it's there. He knew nothing about it, said it CANT be done, but would ask his technicians. Quoting this forum seems to pi*s him off.., we'll see who's right and I'll let you know how I get on! Thumbs Up MY12 SDV6 HSE Sumatra/Ebony/Piano/Sidesteps/Privacy/Overfinch Olympus/JLR DRLs

Hmm... in my experience (across various marques) dealers won't normally charge for these sort of things if you also happen to be in for a service etc. If you go in solely to have the upgrade done, they'll charge you for it.

Do you need to purchase a new 2007 sat nav dvd for this - ontop of the £99 software update - or is matfords saying this can be done with any RRS/year irrespective of what disc you have ??

Pass !!! They did not say,

Took the G4 down (on LR's advice) to get a second option on my cruise problem, and noticed a A4 card selling the software upgrade,, which did not say you had to have the latest disc, and when i asked her to do it while they had the car, still no mention of needed the latest version !! ( the fact that i have the latest, due to it being missing when i bought the car) she would not have known, at that time !! 997 TT, RR TDV8 Vog SE 90 V8 Hybrid

I think it needs to be the new "200" 2007 satnav DVD? I'll report back when I collect my car tomorrow, assuming they've done the upgrade, of course!!! Whistle MY12 SDV6 HSE Sumatra/Ebony/Piano/Sidesteps/Privacy/Overfinch Olympus/JLR DRLs
