Hey that looks clean as a whistle. I’d have never thought of that. In the old days polish meant white residue for years on end. I treated mine with some Gtechniq C4 and that stuff is magic. Did mine a year ago and they’re still black today with a once only treatment. Bit of a leap of faith with the price to volume ratio but it bloody works. 2006 2.7 TDV6 HSE in Cairns Blue. |

Thanks Steve - there was no residue which was a surprise, but it did turn the polishing pad grey pretty quickly. It was a random experiment that looks like it’s paid off, will see how long they stay shiny and black for! |

This is not a wind up....but I use smooth peanut butter.......dip a cloth in a pot and apply as you would a wax, leave it for 10 mins to dry then buff up......comes up a treat and so easy......lasts a couple of months |
