Spring cleaning day for mine today. The one thing that amazes me about this car is how tidy it still actually is, when you get the grime off, for a 16 year old car.

I was getting a bit sick of my weathered looking a and d pillar trims so tried something radical today……machine polished them with autoglym super resin polish. Was surprised at the result……just thought it was worth sharing!

Hey that looks clean as a whistle. I’d have never thought of that. In the old days polish meant white residue for years on end. I treated mine with some Gtechniq C4 and that stuff is magic. Did mine a year ago and they’re still black today with a once only treatment. Bit of a leap of faith with the price to volume ratio but it bloody works. 2006 2.7 TDV6 HSE in Cairns Blue.

This is not a wind up....but I use smooth peanut butter.......dip a cloth in a pot and apply as you would a wax, leave it for 10 mins to dry then buff up......comes up a treat and so easy......lasts a couple of months
