SVR 2018+ Steering Wheel on a pre-facelift

Hello All,

As from my previous posts, looking to refresh my 2016 L494.

Does anyone know if you can fit the newer steering wheel to the older model car? I can get one with matching leather to the car at a decent price. The facelift controls included. I do know a look is needed for that so any experience/known sellers would be appreciated.

My main concern is, will the new wheel be compatible with the older car?

Thank you.

Craig

this is the outfit that makes the loom, but they are in Ukraine, so not sure if they're even in business any more.

Oh, the steering wheel itself should be a straight swap, provided that the new one has all the switches included. --

Steering wheel fits fine and as above you need a loom or buy the switches on Ebay @ £379 that have been adapted to work in the older models Thumbs Up

Thanks pal,

As always a great help to me, finally got a price on the front tow cover, 50 quid from Alibaba 😂 they are already sending me the headlight conversion loom so hopefully won’t raise the shipping too much.

I’ve been searching for the looms, have you seen one for sale? They wheel comes with the gloss black SVR ones so I’d rather not replace if I can get my hands on the loom.

Thanks
