I'm not familiar with them, but I recently had some work done on my 2010 RRS TDV8 by GND Motors in Rainham and was very pleased with it. They do a LOT of LR's and had several there when I took mine in. They also have stacks of LR engines piled from floor to (very high) ceiling on racking.

If interested, speak to Petyo Krumov 07809 350024‬ (don't worry... he's Bulgarian - not Russian! Very Happy ) ‭

If it really is a headgaskets. Just change the headgaskets. Either body on or off.

A better long term solution

If oil in the water, first check / change the oil cooler, located under the oil filter. Common issue

Hi I have combustion pressure in the cooling system, the pressure relief is opening on the header tank cap. Can the head be removed with body on ?

The drivers head is easy to remove body on.

The passenger head is quite difficult, as the fuel belt is on the back, and its hard work to remove the belt cover.

I believe it is said it takes the same time to do body on or body off. It's just much easier job if the body is off.

Of course you can do lots of other jobs when the body is off. (read spend lots more money) (e.g. change brake pipes, rust proof) but I would rather spend money on that, than give it to an engine reconditioner of unknown quality
