New Zealand 2013 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Autobiography Santorini Black

I'm sure the O.E pully is a one piece shrink fit or it was on the earlier s/c, so the chances are you may need to heat it to remove it or possibly drill or cut it to weaken it so it will crack and relieve the pressure being careful not to damage the shaft unless you can get a puller in there to remove it. The new pully hub will then need pressing on to the shaft.

I do have a new nose cone here for the earlier RRS1 s/c which I can post a picture of if it is of any use, but Eaton may have change the design on the later s/c nose cone

Their instructions for fitting the new one are not the best that's for sure, assuming this is the type of pully you have.

Ok, they were doing server updates, but now I have my new map.

Uploaded it to the car this morning and went for a 40km drive.

First impression was disappointing - it didn't really change much in the car, felt just the same as the OEM map.

Then on the way back home I took a detour via a deserted road just outside of town, where I, let's say, drove enthusiastically...

Holy Censored!!! Once you give it beans, it really comes alive, especially beyond 140kmh, where it feels like there's a second engine taking over, with a massive growl.

I did a couple of runs, and the responsiveness and the smooth power delivery is quite addictive.

Overall, I would say this remap won't be noticeabled in 90% of normal driving, and only when you push it does it show itself.

Considering the bang for buck, I would say stick with the standard map, it's more than enough Thumbs Up --

Would think you need the pulley done to get the full potential of the remap, change the pulley, find a nice straight road, stick it in dynamic sports mode, open the window and floor the throttle, make sure you hang on to the steering wheel though or you might end up in the rear seat as it takes off. Rolling with laughter

Cheers

Col, you weren't far off...

Installation of the pulley was pretty straightforward, although the OEM one took a bit of convincing to come off.

And then we went for a test drive...

The power delivery is simply amazing - smooth and linear-like, I chickened out at 2x the speed limit, and there was plenty of power still to come.

It's not a brutal power delivery like the OEM map, it's much smoother, and lulls you into a false sense of security. Until you look at the speedo, that is, and réalisé how fast you're going.

Still doubtful that the gains justify the price, but hey, we only live once, right 😁 --
