Check the battery voltage when it's been stood for several hours - preferably 24hr - as this allows surface charge on the plates to dissipate and gives more correct reading. Then check the voltage with the engine running.

Sounds like a good place to start if it's only done short journeys since you bought it. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

I don't think the TDV8 was ever fitted with DPF in the UK. Could be wrong though. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Maybe get the battery drop tested at a garage for peace of mind. I’ll be changing mine out in 2021 as part of preventative maintenance.... Visitor from fullfatrr.com

Don't bother with the 020 it's about 40mm longer than the original 019 and a tight squeeze to get it fitted correctly without pushing some wiring out of the way I tried it, the extra amps won't make that much difference anyway.

Should I be mentioning the Brake Light Switch? Its a quick and cheap job to replace and has been known to create all sort of weird electrical gremlins when it starts playing up. As do cheap brake light bulbs.
