I need help: LED bar Fitted with HighBeams

Hi all

I have fitted a LED lightbar on my '08 RRS tdv8 with a switch but I was wondering if someone paired this with their Highbeams?
I have a piggyback fuse ready to use, but can't really find that fuse. Or should I open upthe highbeam wire (no idea wich one) on the headlight and solder it together?
Anyone that can help me out? Would be nice to have them work in pair with my highbeams instead of a button.

Thanks!

Simple process of rerouting the positive trigger for your lights relay from the switch to the positive feed on one headlamp high beam. Place a Diode on the feed from the headlight high beam to prevent any backfeed into the central junction box which may trigger an error on your highbeam circuit.
Do not pull the 12V feed for your lamps straight off the headlight and use a Relay if you don't already have one. 2009 Range Rover Sport Supercharged

Easiest way would be to connect to back of one of your headlights and connect to high beam wire, think it’s 11 or 12 off memory, but easy enough to test with a meter.
Did mine this way and there are other posts about this topic too, some have wiring diagrams, but check the models carefully

Main Beam supply looks like Pin 10 Blue wire with Black tracer O/S headlight. N/S would be same Pin No. but Blue wire with Grey tracer.

Thanks!
I didn’t want to put it behind the grill because of the grill blocking some light.
I felt this would be a good position, and it’s kinda hidden.

I got the osram vx500 ledbar.
Shines really bright. You could go even bigger but make sure it fits. Or do 2 small ones.
I got the medium sized one.

Thats the exact one i have lined up, it looks well made and i like osram. I have them for my daytime running lights very good quality they’re. I wanted to put one on the roof aswell but maybe this one in front bumper with be enough light?

When you connected to main beam did you just splice it into the red wire on the button switch? Im guesing you got the osram wiring harness aswell?

Dave, Do you think the light bar would cause an issue to the cooler? I didnt think it would restrict any air flow tbh theres alot of space at both sides of the light?
