Hi again. Tried to find a new battery for the SOS system but no joy. Local LR dealership have ordered me one but its on back order. So if anyone knows where i can get one please let me kno👍 RRS HSE DYNAMIC 2015 ODESSEY RED

So was out down the Cotswolds today doing a 3 hour drive in total.
Not fitted the new sos telematics battery as yet.
What i did notice was that the warning light is now on constant but today it wad on and off most of the journey. It seemed though to go off when going up steep hillsbut come back on when on a level or downward road

So as I have posted had the Sos message constantly
Bought a new Genuine battery to replace but not had chance to change as yet.
Decided to pay for the InControl Remote subscription for 24 months at £57.60
How atrange is it that now The Sos works fine and no warning light at all...... how many other people have had to pay for diagnostics and repairs for this function/warning light to not appear when obviously JLR know there is nothing wrong you just have to keep renewing your subscription

Could it be the built in SIM giving yo problems, I assume that is what is used for the SOS service?

Not sure the sim i have has signal so assume its not that. Someone said its possible battery so bought a ee one but not had chance to fit as need to remove part of dash RRS HSE DYNAMIC 2015 ODESSEY RED

I am not talking about the SIM in the cubby that you fit yourself, there is a SIM ( Somewhere ) built into the car.

Good luck, keep an eye on the signal strength indicators for your internal SIM and your provided SIM.
It might give a clue?
