I am aware you can get HID in different colours, but is it as simple as just changing the bulb? Or does the ballast need to be changed too? |

The H7 is described by LR as a fill-in light to ensure good pattern spread. The main beam proper is provided by the xenon unit.

If you have =Xenons then the high beam is a fill in globe with the hi beam being provided by the HIDs in the outer lights.

I run aftermarket H7 LED bulbs (6k) and together with the Xenons provide a fantastic output. Do a search on here for a thread on LED bulbs.
