New to forums, but I hear these are the best places to get answers, better than Google in fact.

I am currently looking at upgrading from a BMW 8 series to an SVR (2018-2022) but have a few questions.

Were there any upgrades done between 2018-2022, if so what year should I be looking to get?

Are there any things other than service history I should be looking at when finding the right vehicle?

Are there any must have options?

Does anyone have the service interval/schedule of works for each service that can be shared?

I’m still undecided on what colour to get but would like an SVO premium pallette colour, please send through some photos of your’s so I can make my mind up

First you should check insurance.

Timing chain rattle is a bit of a concern, on cold start up


Blue and grey are nice colours.
Metallic red is nice if they did it in svr
