4.4 TDV8 coolant leak options for repair

Hi all,

I have a small but constant coolant leak which I have traced to the thermostat housing in the front centre of the V.

I know this is a common fault but wondering what is the best option for repair?

1) replace both bottom and top units for new items
2) replace the o ring seals for either genuine or aftermarket Vitron items

Every time I’ve ordered the thermostat housing it’s the new revision which needs the new revision outlet which needs the new revision complete hose set. Can potentially get pricey quick.

If you can get the parts separated without any plastic breaking I’d try replacing the o rings first. 2011 RRS HSE Luxury 3.0 TDV6 Fuji White on Ebony/Ivory
