Hi All,
Just joined out of desperation!!
Had this from main dealer 3 years ago and it's been perfect for the last 25k miles.
It's been serviced regularly and I just had two brake pipes replaced.
Wife left early in it on Friday with sister for 320 mile trip to Cornwall. Rang me at 09.00 and said she had broken down near Bodmin
The car started to vibrate, all the warning lights came on and it ground to a halt. No chance of restarting it.
Green Flag picked it up (local recovery) and it's currently in St Austel.
They're getting it to my approved garage (CSG Macclesfield) early next week.
I'm thinking the worst - Crankshaft!
Any views and what's it going to cost me?

You might get lucky check out the post linked above, LR may offer financial assistance they base it on car age, dealer service history/spend and mileage.

If the car has not been serviced using main delear parts that you can prove probably wont do much

I was told mine was too old basically as its 2013 but FRLSH with only 41K its service hsitory as per the schedule but got nothing. worst case I got Guy Salmon to fit engine £13599 inc 2yr warranty.

But read that post its all in there, hit me up with a PM as im interested in how you get on and sorry to here it I feel your pain like the shining  If a jobs worth doing, get a someone who knows what they are doing to do it!
