Ahh good, I do find the RRS a tad harsher than some with the 40s so fingers crossed ( especially with Morays roads ) 55s are even better.... if I ever get them Seems everywhere is struggling at the minute.

Wooo new toy!

Finally got my car booked in for tyres. I ended up trying 5 places before I found somewhere and opted for general grabber AT3's. 255/55/r20 so fingers crossed they are upto the job - not a bad price either to be honest, £660 fitted. The only other place I could get to quote me wanted £1150!
Anyhow, booked in for monday

AT3s are a great tyre... had them on a disco 3 and they took some punishment... Im also running a set on a Transit Custom and the side profile are mean looking .

Yes it was a choice between them and BFG AT's or goodyear duratracs but th BFGs were daft prices and nowhere seems to have 255/55/r20 duratracs. I spoke to a lad on facebook who runs the grabbers on a farm use vehicle so they must be decent.

Well, 255/55/r20 fitted. VERY tight on full lock default height. Brand new tho so will get better. I also have 30mm spacers.

So I saw another bloke doing a running total of costs and thought it was a good idea for reference.
I have done one and in my true greatness I forgot to sort the dates into the right order haha! But it will do.

A few issues are raising their heads, hardly supprising as we have done 10k or so in 6 month.
Warranty test time.....
Memory eat only remembers half of position.
Passenger door - door doesnt lock/unlock depending on its humour.
Radio - signals crap.
I also need to get the bushes for arb and arb links done, but thats not warranty imho, its wear and tear.

Basically we need to put it in for diagnostics and pay for that... then they will decide if we are covered or not.

Forgot to say, stgraight through center box made pretty much 0 difference!

Your car would really suit "Black Gloss" side steps. Put them on mine when the original ones went all weird and corroded on the aluminium.
