Hello all

I am going to be running 22" Range Rover alloys and because of not having the space to carry the spare wheel in the boot of the car I was wondering if there are any P400e owners out there who carry a space saver wheel with them ?

If there are can you tell me if they will work with the 22" alloy wheels because from what I have been told is that the 22" and 21" both have the overall same circumference and the only difference is that the tyre wall is 10mm wider on the 22". Is that right guys ?

I can't imagine that anyone carries a space saver in this car. It would just be too great a compromise to space.

Hi,
you can use any wheel and tyre combination as long as the overall diameter/radius is the same
(as long as it fits over the discs ect!)

so if the space saver gives the right figure as your 22" wheels with tyre size? then it would be fine.

to give you an idea 255/55/19 matches with 275/50/19 and
235/65/17 = 235/60/18 = 235/55/19 (freelander )

I do not have a spare (obviously being P400e). I’ve not had to use a spare tyre since the early 1990s. Perhaps I am just lucky! L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Silicon Silver / Espresso

LR certainly expect some P400e owners to carry a space saver inside the car - they market the wheel plus a bag and jack etc for it. Not sure what size the wheel size is though and whether compatible as a spare for your 22s.
