2012 RRS Service and any other essential maintenance

Ok so my 2012 SDV6 has 71k miles on it. I have just cleaned and treated some surface rust on the chassis. Also I have just completed a full service with genuine parts changed oil with C1 and replaced oil, air, pollen and fuel filters and topped up all fluids in engine bay
Any other essential jobs i should be doing at this stage ?

If it hasn't been done, possibly at 71k transmission oil change/flush.

Cheers

gearbox flush is on the list but i have read conflicting reports if to do it or not - no issues with the box atm and very smooth changes.... just to add it states timing belt and injection pump belt changed at 57k.

You’re in good shape! If you have factory side steps have a look underneath, they are the first things to rust off the car. I just replaced mine on a MY12 with 96k. 2018 Telsa MS

yes factory sidesteps need some TLC too, not rotten through but starting to rust so may just clean them up and paint until they need replacing ! Where did you get you replacements from?

I wouldn't. Had mine done at about 68k i think on my RRS1 with the adaptations reset and it was less smooth. Even got it done again at a local garage and it wasn't much better. Will be leaving this one well alone i think unless there's a specific problem i'm trying to fix down the line. L494 3.0L SDV6 Autobiography in Chile Red (Current)

Gearbox flush on both of my cars, although neither had issues before, change much smoother after, and down changes greatly improved.

Can't see if done properly that there would be issues not there before.
