I am wondering whether it would be possible to remove that structure with the seat belt attachment from the seat. It looks as if it's just screwed on on top of the leather of the seat back and should therefore be removable. I know it would not be legal but still worth a try. Any thoughts? SOMETIMES YOU'RE THE BUG AND SOMETIMES YOU'RE THE WINDSHIELD

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Arctic Frost

Roland, I would advise against messing with the rear centre seatbelt tower.

Although it won't effect the operation of the airbag system or any of the other passenger safety features. You could knacker that particular seatbelt mechanism. Which would prove a very expensive repair. If you remove the seatbelt tower and then fold the seat you risk the seatbelt harness recoiling beyond the recommended point. If this happens the seatbelt harness normally locks in position and will not release. Making it impossible to refit the seatbelt tower and in some extreme cases impossible to lift the seats into their normal position. Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.

I did an IKEA trip once or twice with the Supercharged and have to say I was angered at the lack of room and the fact I had to have my seat so far forwards when the rear seats were down. Evil or Very Mad

I guess, it's another good reason for having a full size Vogue instead....!! Very Happy Very Happy L319 D4 HSE
