Not used it on my RRS but had it done on my X3 and the results were...………non existent, seemed exactly the same as before, however had a terraclean done on my old Insignia and that made a world of difference to pick up, smoke and economy

Thanks for your feedback I’ve got 62000 miles on my RRS 2013 so just thinking about it.Only use quality fuel and run additive cleaner through every tank full using Archoil AR6900-D Max Advanced Diesel Fuel Synthesis. Thumbs Up

I would think that just using the thing properly would be sufficient. Get the engine up to temperature and then drive it for a decent period. Constantly doing short journeys is the bane of the internal combustion engine and associated systems. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Re carbon cleaning

Looks like the ASA held up the complaint against the carbon cleaning company as there’s just not enough evidence to show that it works , their evidence seems to be based on very old facts involving old cars . So probably a waste of money then .

I really need to take my sport out for a long fast run when all this lockdown is finished.

I think its the biggest Con going, I had my RRS done and didn't notice any difference, When i had my bmw535d terracleaned that does work to an extent but i think putting millers diesel power in every full up is more beneficial. Dont waste your time and money on hydrocon!

+ 1 for standard diesel and a shot of millers per tank.

I tried using Millers based on a discussion on this forum. Made no discernible difference. I just use whatever fuel is around when it needs filling. I also use supermarket or named brands based on where I am when it needs fuel. None of them make a discernible difference from the driver's seat. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
