It's a 2014 Vogue SE with the 4.4 SDV8 engine, opening panoramic roof, electric side steps, adaptive cruise with queue assist, soft close doors etc... Kev

Sounds great. What does queue assist do, help you jump the queue at roadworks or force you to merge in turn? I always understood that full fat RRs also came with outside lane assist as standard which helped them stay in the outside/overtaking lane on empty motorways. 2010 TDV8 - current - my first RRS, loving it so far...... 2005 Cayenne S - handling defied physics and what a sound, so sod the mpg! 1995 Disco TDI- surprisingly reliable, shame about the peeling dash & other trim Lots of other non 4X4's in between times......... |

I think it helps when in stop start traffic where the car will stop and move based the car in front. No doubt I'll be having a play with it this afternoon and reading the manuals afterwards! Kev

So, I picked the car up yesterday from a non-LR main dealer. All that can be said is that the whole experience was completely underwhelming!

That's so disappointing Kev. I feel for you. All the build up and now a sour taste in your mouth. Hope it gets resolved well Robin

Good luck Kev you deserve it, reminds me of when we bought the Evoque last year that only lasted 2 months before I called it quits. Still good news came out of it I now have the Sport. |

This mirrors my experience of buying a FFRR 2012 Westminster a few years ago from Marshalls in Lincoln. The 180ish point inspection they claim to do is a joke. They clean it and put it up for sale. When I got mine home I put my IID tool on it and it had codes. Phoned them and they said take it to my local Marshalls and they would sort it. One code was EGR related which they claimed was a sensor fault. When I picked it up I put my IID on it and that code was still there. They said the FFRR TVD8 always shows that code. My reply was rude. Phoned Lincoln and they came and picked it up. Returned to me a few days later fixed. I then drove to Wales as my mother was in hospital and on the way back I got an Engine Management Warning light. I got home and contacted them. They came and picked it up again. Returned a week later having had a new EGR cooler fitted.

Interesting LandPhil the Evoque was supplied by Marshall's Lincoln in 2012 but I bought it from Marshall's Honda near Weatherby in 2019, they had lost all trace of service history and one of the keys. |

Excellent news, get it done sharpish to keep the momentum going. Won’t do any harm to get them to give it a once over so you really know what you’ve got. Good luck 2006 2.7 TDV6 HSE in Cairns Blue. |

I'd second that, did they decide who did the work or did you. |
