2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

I think might have been me that asked Naks about spare tyre pressure - I’ve just changed the 5vAll Seasons on my New Defender for Duratracs and the spare was showing low pressure. The tyre fitter had inflated it to a perfectly reasonable 40psi but the readout on the dash recommends 50psi. I asked over in Defender2.net if anyone knew why it was so high and also if Naks could check his RRS spare to see what the recommended pressure is on the dash. I wonder if somebody amongst you guys could check what the recommended pressure fir the spare is on the TPMS display in an L494 Sport, thus is a full size spare not a space saver.

They run quietly on the tar and fuel consumption doesn’t seem to have suffered much either. I have tried them off-road yet. I was surprised how well the standard tyres coped on a green lane drive last weekend on the hills around Killin. They did clog up quite quickly on one muddy section but the electronic got us out -New Defender has low speed launch control as part of toys and it worked well, I also have the fully configurable TR2 set up where you can customise the locking diff and most of the other settings but haven’t tried playing with that bit yet. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Tim, I went to the car to get the readings, but they all show 0 with ignition on.

And when I start the engine, I cannot access that menu --

The spare on my L494 is set to 35psi (full size 22) I’m not sure wether you can check pressure on dash for spare,only 4x what’s on car.What I do know if the spare drops in pressure it then comes up on dash,,spare tyre low pressure or something along those lines.
Anyway it’s time to go play in the new toy
