Hi all still trying to figure out whats wrong , so i have taken the compressor of the car connected it direct to the battery and it runs fine its sucking and pushing air in and out but when on the car it runs for 5 seconds then cuts out and amber light comes on, the car is on the bumps now but took about 10 days so i am guessing its holding air reasonably OK, if i connect the pump direct to battery when on the car in order to pump the suspension up would it work or could i cause more damage.

Many thanks for the reply i was wondering if i could put enough air into the system to drive to a garage if needs be or just to see if it would raise the vehicle thus eliminating the pump if the vehicle would raise, at the moment i am looking for leaks valve blocks etc but not sure if the pump would only run for a few seconds as i does if its just a leak.

I also have a Dunlop compressor and it's been very reliable since I installed it.
