Had one of these delivered yesterday. I actually thought the price would be for 2, I'm obviously oit of practice bying wiper baldes since my Mark 1 escort when I was 17. Being a Land Rover owner certainly gets you into new experiences bothe good and bad. Anyway first of all I see no way that this blade will fit, secondly the design of the blade apeeares to be for a left hand drive car, unless my knowledge of airodynamics is completly wrong. Has anybody else bought these and fitted them succesfully? In all fairness to speeding I just rang and they said I coul get my money back if I sent it to them and they said that they have no blades that are on their list for the RRS. Maybe they dont bothet for cars less than 5 years old, as who would have thought you would need new wipper blades. |

I believe that I am the one from the other side of the pond that suggested the Valeos. I cannot tell from the web picture if these are the same ones -- it is difficult to see the mounting hardware. Once you remove the LR wipers, there is essentially just a "J" hook at the end of the arm that locks into the blade mount, and there is a hinged end on the blade mount that closes over the J hook.

I got the Valeo 665's for £12.95 on line (this is per blade). Follow the link earlier in the thread.

Went with the new LR model; I've just ordered from well known site memeber "The Large One".

Just has my wipers replaced under warranty as they have made a horrible noise since I got the car in April. The LR dealer change the blades and also coated the screen in something. Its done the job it appears but I need to fully test in the rain to confirm.
