It doesn't seem to be an option for the SVR but its is for any other spec. I wonder if this can still be fitted by the dealer after delivery? |

They were always a dealer fit. Probably took too much time to be a factory fit

2020 MY comes pre-wired for deployable side steps in order to minimize the number of panels that need to be removed during fitting |

I've seen this as well, no where to be seen on the SVR page and if you go to a non SVR model and look it specifically says Not for SVR. But they were fine on the MY20 model !!! So whats changed for MY20.5 lol. Anyone got any ideas? Non JLR Vehicle |

The New Defender configurator is the same, quite a few accessories that are dealer fit and not added to the original build spec have either disappeared or moved to the accessories section. Some items that are listed as factory only aren’t - the Warn winch for example is a £5000 dealer fit accessory now but at least that price includes all parts needed to comply with the pedestrian safety rules which initially the configurator showed as a separate item, now if you click on the winch it also highlights the mounting kit and adds the total cost to your car’s cost. Only Thing the Defender configurator doesn’t show is if you add say the winch and black accessory wheels the image of the car doesn’t change to show them added, to show the black wheels you have to go right back to the wheels section in the initial builder sections and highlight a different style of wheel!
