Engine oil leak

Hi I have an oil leak at the rear of the engine probably from the top dripping down. Any common issues?

Cheers

Inlet manifold gaskets and/or oil cooler. Take the engine cover off, look down the oil filter housing and look for signs of oil. If nothing there use a mirror to look at the back of the inlet manifolds for signs of leaks.

I’ve had both of these leaks and they definitely put oil down the back of the engine. 2011 RRS HSE Luxury 3.0 TDV6 Fuji White on Ebony/Ivory

I had a turbo return pipe gasket which was sorted (3.6 TDV8). Still getting drips and they turned out to be the torque converter seal and a gearbox seal. Was a gearbox out jobby.

Make sure whoever looks at it knows their onions.

All in, was around £1,300, but no more leaks and that included having some bronze bushes in the gearbox replaced and all fluids.

I took the throttle body off to have a better look at the oil filter housing. Slightly damp towards the back. Very hard to see beyond that due to all the pipes.

What model is it ? might help in determining the issue.
