They are bolted on but they are usually rusted so you need new screws/bolts. Now the bad bit, you need to split the bearing so you need to fit new bearings too. If you’re not in a rush, keep an eye on ebay as genuine parts can sometimes be available quite cheap. I picked up a New genuine LR rear bearing for £8 back in April and I’ll be fitting that when I do my rear brake splash shield. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

just replaced mine, big job replacing bearings, epb shoes, abs sensor, and some bushes.

That's because the split shields are an Atlantic British custom designed and manufactured part Kev

get normal ones and cut them where Atlantic British have.
