land rover logo only after incartec kit installed

This is an old problem I have only just had time to address. Full incartec kit purchased when replacing existing stereo with Pioneer head unit. Everything up and running fine using RobK guide in this forum except for the Satnav dash, which just shows the Land Rover Logo. Checked the Fibre optic cable and can see red light at both ends so is not the cable. Checked IIDTool to see if any errors and shows fine so have send incartec an email but as being Saturday I dont expect a reply until Monday so was wondering if anything else i can check before then. RRS 2006 2.7TD BLACK (MY FIRST RR!!!!)

the LR logo means it can't communicate with anything. It has only powered up.

if you look into the orange fibre connector. you should see a red light on both orange cables, as one is transmit and one receive.

just an update to this, IIDTool is showing some errors, the first im assuming is that i have removed the antenna cable from the loom. The second error Im wondering if could be the cause ????

Can I ask, is the IIDtool is compatible with your new incartec kit Question In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
Gone - A couple of RRS, A couple of Disco's. However thinking of another Sport.

thats a good question that I have no idea how to answer lol. How would I find that out ?

On a side note and i'm probably wrong as Im not a sparky, I thought if i bypassed all the incartec loom and just connect the old disassembled head unit back up, in theory the satnav screen should kick back in ???? Did this and was still stuck on LR logo. Photos below

IID Tool would not be "compatible"

These are what I currently have after I have fitted the InCarTec kit & a HU

These faults repeat on a regular basis, Amp shown as you probably will have those as well. So yes, your second may be the cause. On InCarTec's site, there should be good instructions about tearing down the original HU to keep only the bit needed for the 4x4 info and SatNav, maybe worth revisiting that just to check you haven't missed or added a step.

good idea. I havent actually ever seen those errors you have aside from the antenna. The head unit was put in about a year ago and works fine apart from the satnav screen. From my recollection the incartec kit only came with basic instructions regarding the actual installation but yes it did come with the old HU teardown which I did. RRS 2006 2.7TD BLACK (MY FIRST RR!!!!)

Antenna circuit fault code is fairly normal. Probably unrelated.

update, so didnt realise there was a diagnostic menu that i found on a different forum. Accessing this brings up the sat navigation which works fine. Reading up on what can be tested from the menu to see if it sheds any light. The only thing i found so far was in the MOST test that it shows status zero power.

I can't help think you have done something wrong when taking the radio apart.

It is the only thing different now? to when it was working.
