Just remove the cowling. No need to remove the wheel. Kev

Stalks arrived today and simple to fit. 2 x small Torx screws in the underside of the cowling and then just pull the top cowl off and the bottom one will drop down. Each stalk is held in by 2 x small Philips head screws. Once undone, pull the main block of each stalk off the mounting bracket.The main wash/wipe stalk is a little fiddly to get out, but do-able. Then each stalk has a connector which will need unclipping.
