Good morning all,

I’m hoping for some imput, I have these wheels on my new to me autobiography sport. Are they genuine LR wheels? I can’t take them off to check nor can I see them in any literature

Yes they do look like originals.Same as what was on mine when I purchased apart from mine being black.

Thank you for your reply Tyrefitter and confirming what I was thinking.

It was the mirrored finish with black inset that was throwing me as I had only seen one other sport with them and one with black wheels the rest seem to be silver sparkle.

Ive just looked closer at yours & they could be copies as the centre cap is different to any others ive seen on a LR,probably best to try remove one & it should be stamped Landrover on the inside.Unless they are off a Fullfat Rangerover which is the bigger one not the sport. Andy.

I was hoping they were genuine as they do look nice when clean but my spider sense is tingling with these. Which is making me doubt the cars autobiography badge.

Would it say autobiography on the v5? Any pointers on getting a build sheet from the vin?

Pays to do your homework as some people like to rebadge their cars as a model it is patently not.

Ways to void this:

Check the MOT History - see what the DVLA thinks it is
Check the LR Service history online
Check the VIN details.

I thought I did prepare and do my homework, I also bought it from a reputable dealer. I checked the SH online and it has a full main dealer history so that’s good, plus hpi and mot check even though it’s only had one.

Everything seems ok build wise bar the wheels, just no mention of the autobiography part, would that be noted on the v5,
Like it would a HSE?

PM me your reg & I’ll check it for you.you can usually check it’s a AB with the vents in the sides of the rear bumper like in the pic I sent of mine,unless the rear bumper has been changed but I doubt anyone would go that far to change it.Also the rear heater controls on the AB are like these were as the hse usually just have heated seats
