Drivers Seat memory module question

Hi
Have a problem with front drivers seat and mirrors not working was getting a rapid relay clicking sound whether ignotion was on or off, then nothing.
Checked all fuses all fine, checked power was getting to memory module it is
I think memory module probably has issue I have found a brand new replacement does anyone know if this would work
Physically the box is same, with same sockets
The one I have found is slightly more modern

Current module YWC000784 Jca 320884AA hardware version V5.0 software version v9.1 Date 0505

new Module YWC000785 Jca 320884-3 hardware version V5.0 software version v9.2 Date 0512

I suspect this is an updated version which in theory may actually be better than the original one fitted.

If this has to be coded to car what is the software normally used for this?

Thanks

I had the same clicking noise problem you mentioned. I disconnected all the connectors on the module and let it sit for 30 minutes. Reconnected them back and haven’t had a problem since. You might want to give that a try before buying another module 2006 LR3 HSE

Plug it in and see it will either work or not would not have thought it would need coding but i stand to be corrected i thought you only needed to tell the car it has powered seats Thumbs Up

If your power seats are not working after you re plugged the module back in then the module is probably dead. I’d replace it with the same Part # unless LR has a superceded part #. There shouldn’t be any programming needed for a new module. 2006 LR3 HSE
