The V8 diesels use chains not belts so that's one good thing. It's not unknown for the chain tensioner to need a change, however. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

I have owned both the SDV6 RRS and currently a SDV8. I got about 32mpg out of the SDV6 overall and am currently getting about 28mpg out of the SDV8 but I expect that to improve as the engine loosens up. So for not noticed much difference in service cost or tyre wear |
