This is our machine, albeit, on a 6 speed box



It's effectively a dialysis machine for the gearbox. It measure the oil pressure and flow of old oil coming into the machine, and matches that with the new oil going back into the system

Won't bore you the with whole video, but it keeps flushing until the whole 12 litres of oil has been exchanged

Is this a "while you wait" with a cuppa job kr does it take quite a while ? Rough cost on an 8spd ?

Takes around 4 hours on the 8 speed boxes, most of which time is allowing the gearbox to cool down to the correct temperature range, to recheck the oil level in the box

We have a big retail park across the road(ish) one way, and a cinema/McD's/KFC etc the other way, to kill a few hours
