Been reading through these posts and I have ordered the patch leads today. I would like the lights to come on with the ignition instead of when the car is unlocked. Does anyone know if this is possible.

One you have removed the headlights, remove all additional parts attached.
Then put headlight in oven at 190degrees for 3 minutes which will soften glue enough.
Then prise open headlights, fit rings and ru wires from back of headlight.
Then re attach glass etc and re fit headlights.
Whole process takes between 1-2 hours, but results are well worth it
Unfortunately its not possible to fit to 2010 onwards as they already have led lights
