Not sure at what level the wear sensor operates. In this weather, I'd be getting them done sooner rather than later though .....

Mileage is not always the key factor in brake pad wear - I have only done 13000m and this is since picking it up in Sept 05 ... Most of my driving is done around town/local = stop start etc , which must be heavier on the brakes than someone who wellies up the motorway each and every day period Interesting this one

18000 miles 50:50 town country! When you book in get a firm quote. My dealer (whom I'm in dispute with) charge 2 hours labour. I would be interested in what your dealer charges. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

At the last service the dealer said mine needed replacing, im waiting till the light comes on the dash then ill get them changed, mines done 13.5k at the moment mostly driving around lanes with a bit of motorway driving about 80/20 split, as VA said get a firm quote, ive been quoted big differences from other garages some of my Previous cars

I think it was 1 hr they quoted for me (and charged)... I don't see it should take an experienced "service department executive" (read mechanic) any longer than that.
