When the car is rolling to a stop, hit the button and it lowers without problem.
Hit the access mode button when the car is stationary however and it will lower the front then go into extended mode

Any ideas? Really Cba with another trip to dealers. Only just got it back having had a new o2 sensor and fuel tank baffle kit fitted MY15.5 HSE - SDV6 - Santorini Black

Just had the same fault exactly on mine.

Fixed under approved used warranty they replaced the compressor and calibrated.

wont be cheap if not covered I don't think

Had something similar on mine..

Parked the car, went out and it went into extended mode

Was a kind of filter element in the back near the compressor. Before you replace the compressor check it... should be on the right side where the compressor is Range Rover Sport HST D350

I had the same issue with mine. My local dealer changed the compressor and air dryer and it was all sorted after.

Luckily it is still under warranty otherwise it would of cost some !

Ive just had same problem with a customers L494 my14 on Monday & it was the exhaust silencer on the pump,its a little guaze like filter that screws into the compressor I got one for £7.50 delivered & fitted in 15 minutes. Andy.

Had exact same problem last March in my L494 MY14. As Tyrefitter said it was a simple fix by replacing exhaust filter in the compressor. Suggest you get second opinion from a good indie if anyone wants to charge you for a new compressor.

What I did was remove the filter with a 17mm spanner & see if it cures the problem,thats what I did.I got the filter from this company,if you call them & just mention its the filter that Andy From Andy's Tyres Bridlington got they will have it on their system,might be a few quid more as I get trade but still a easy fix.

any chance of a picture of the filter please. I can find part number LR045919 which is described as a compressor silencer but its nearly £60 and doesn't look like is screws in the compressor.

That part number is for a different part,that one is a inline filter/silencer. Andy.
