I had the same issue with mine. My local dealer changed the compressor and air dryer and it was all sorted after.

I had this problem and it turned out to be the offside front suspension strut. As soon as I replaced the front struts, the fault disappeared. Kev

Ive just had same problem with a customers L494 my14 on Monday & it was the exhaust silencer on the pump,its a little guaze like filter that screws into the compressor I got one for £7.50 delivered & fitted in 15 minutes. Andy.

Had exact same problem last March in my L494 MY14. As Tyrefitter said it was a simple fix by replacing exhaust filter in the compressor. Suggest you get second opinion from a good indie if anyone wants to charge you for a new compressor. |

What I did was remove the filter with a 17mm spanner & see if it cures the problem,thats what I did.I got the filter from this company,if you call them & just mention its the filter that Andy From Andy's Tyres Bridlington got they will have it on their system,might be a few quid more as I get trade but still a easy fix.

any chance of a picture of the filter please. I can find part number LR045919 which is described as a compressor silencer but its nearly £60 and doesn't look like is screws in the compressor. |

That part number is for a different part,that one is a inline filter/silencer. Andy.

That ones tappered with a hole in the side not the middle,it could be different. Andy.
