IN CONTROL ODOMETER READING

Having expensively renewed my subscription, within a week the odometer reading went to zero.
Everything else works OK.
Logged a problem on 4th April - still waiting for a solution.
Had the usual 3 day responses and a request for a screen print - cannot do this on iPhone 6 but you do not need a screen print to see what is wrong.
I think I have seen similar complaints on the DS forum but nothing on here.

Just do a screen capture (home button plus on/off button) to the photo album. RRS MY17 SDV6 AB

In Control Odometer reading

I had exactly the same issue following my last service March 2018, just within warranty, plus the service alert indicator had not cleared since the previous service. The dealer could not help much, so I emailed Land Rover customer services and they were very good and recommended a reinstall of the app and re-pairing the app with the car. This did nothing, so they did something at their end and this cleared the service alert, but did not recover the odometer reading. They then recommended a software upgrade and asked me to speak to the dealer, however the dealer said that as I was out of warranty this was a chargeable service at £72. luckily Landover customer services said they would pick up the tab.

Yesterday I had the software update done and hay presto the odometer reading is back.

It appears that Land Rover have a special team for the incontrol app and the dealer is useless, but if your car is in warranty please log it in writing with the dealer and Land Rover otherwise you may have to pay the charge.

Happened to me following the service in March. CRC say that the TCU needs an update. Booked in.

We’ll see whether it works. This time last year it took 4 months to remove the low washer fluid warning from the app - that turned out to be an error on the server side.

Fuel low warning light is currently on the app now too, despite it showing a nearly full tank

Thanks for the advice on screen capture - I did try this and it did not seem to work on my iPhone 6 plus.... Maybe my fingers are not quick enough.

The information from Godfry and Phil is of great concern because this also coincides with service and MOT.
Unfortunately it is now out of warranty.
Basically it was working OK and it now does not.
I have had the other problems mentioned of service alert and fuel in oil etc. etc.
I have reloaded the iPhone App several times to no effect.
I have not found that my local dealer - also a site sponsor - knows anything about at all this area so I had better pursue it with LRCS.

Bit puzzled as to why it is only the Odometer reading - the trip and other numbers are all OK. Current: MY15 RRS2 3.0 SDV6 Autobiography Dynamic, Aruba Gold, HUD, Meridian 1700w

Press and hold side button then press home.

As I said in another post, it does increase the trade-in value at a LR dealership somewhat Whistle

Thank you for your email and I apologise for the delayed response.
In relation to the concern experienced with the odometer please can you book your vehicle into a retailer for them to make sure the Telematics Control Unit is updated to the latest software level.

If the issue is still present after this has been completed then the retailer will need to raise a TA and escalate to TSD where they will investigate further.

Thank you for your time and I apologise for the inconvenience caused. Current: MY15 RRS2 3.0 SDV6 Autobiography Dynamic, Aruba Gold, HUD, Meridian 1700w

Booked in on Tuesday for dealer to check TCU s/w . I'm afraid nobody at the dealer knows anything about ICTP so I am dreading this!

Spotted something on Topix (but of course I am denied access to the detail)!

SSM73869 Within Pathfinder the odometer calibration fails with the request out of range.
SSM73799 Concerns identified during or after updating ICTP with the latest release of s/w.

Can anyone help please? Current: MY15 RRS2 3.0 SDV6 Autobiography Dynamic, Aruba Gold, HUD, Meridian 1700w

Ditto. Had the TCU software updated and fixed the odometer reading in In Control Remote.

Also had four new tyres. Always amazes me how much of a difference to the ride and road noise it makes.
