Inside of an RRS autobiography we looked at yesterday, is that a speaker in the back of the front seat? Are these seats standard? Seemed to have so many different controls, even electrically height adjustable heat rests!

Autobiography has electric head rests for up & down,,if you are on about the round alloy bit on the headrest then no it’s not a speaker it’s to adjust the tilt forwards & backwards for headrest.

The grill on the rear seat is a speaker. It part of the £4500+ Meridian upgraded sound package amf quite a rare option. I had this on my Velar First Edition but its not something I would pay for as its not that good.

Yes the grill is what I was referring to, the stereo did sound crazy loud when only turned up a quarter of the way!

Didn't realize they had speakers on the backs of the seat !! Thought that bit on the back of the seat was to do with the tablet screens if you have them ? Where they clip into !

I have the meridian reference signiture sound system in my sport march 2016 but don't have speakers on the backs of the seats ! I have 4 speakers in the roof but I'm sure it was only the full fat range rover which had these speakers on the backs of the seats.

Really sure these are not speakers ! Or is it to do with the massage seats which may have a different back design ?

Hmm strange - what are they for then? I thought they were part of the reference sound system

As I say it must have style 7 seats which have the massage function and double function back rest adjustment, this must be the pattern of the back of these seats with or without tablet screens

My Velar FE has massage seats too so maybe it is something to do with this but I swear they look like speaker grills

Those grills signify there is massage seats fitted and not reference stereo speakers.
