I only lower mine, when I have to take my Nan some place as it makes it easy for her to get in and out otherwise i lower it once a month just to keep it working

I always try and lower on the move as mine sometimes try’s to go back up even though there’s no obstruction. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

If you do lower it, do so before you engage park. When you change height, the wheel base changes slightly. You can see this for yourself by putting the EPB on, and changing height whilst stood outside. You'll see the front wheels roll slightly. Not much, but enough to add loading in to the drive train if it's all locked up. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
