I only lower mine, when I have to take my Nan some place as it makes it easy for her to get in and out otherwise i lower it once a month just to keep it working

England 2012 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Autobiography Fuji White

I lower mine to try and avoid rubbing the leather on the seat base as I get in and out of the vehicle. I’ve put a new foam base in because the foam was braking down and now I need to get the leather repainted. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

Hi,
we use Access most of the time for entry/exit and Off road odd times, mainly if parking long term in a car park Shocked

two recent airport parking stints it was left in Off road height, anyone opening doors next to ours will hit the steps first if they are not carefull hopefully Whistle
after 2 weeks its still sat up high and level

But

No one has mentioned WHEN they change the height Question we always try to select while the car is still moving, again its personal choice but if you stop first then select access you are loading the bushes more Question well thats my thoughts anyway

I always try and lower on the move as mine sometimes try’s to go back up even though there’s no obstruction. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Orkney Grey

If you do lower it, do so before you engage park. When you change height, the wheel base changes slightly. You can see this for yourself by putting the EPB on, and changing height whilst stood outside. You'll see the front wheels roll slightly. Not much, but enough to add loading in to the drive train if it's all locked up. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
