im looking at installing rear entertainment /dvd headrests in my 07 rrs hse, can anyone give me any instruction on how to install once i have purchased,
diagrams etc.
also can tv be installed on this model as told it cant be..
dont want my eyes taking out at audio centre..

Expensive if you go down the oem route aftermarket is cheaper have a look here at the tv side

I use a car radio place I think I will have a word with them see what they can do as they are great

I replaced my dated rear screens with a pair of xtrons 10" DVD screens within headrests that perfectly matched the rest of the seat colour, there was a little wireing involved but I paid an audio tech guy £50 to fit them for me. They look and work great and only cost me around £160 from eBay. I do have the link should you be interested. Updated sat nav

I bought some second hand Rosen Av7900 units

Didn't come with the correct colour headrests as i needed arabica , but found a local distributor of rosen ice and ordered the headrests brand new from them for £200.

The screens + control box and headphones/controllers cost me £300.

So total cost of £500

Fitting was a doddle, unclipped the bottom of the seat and fed the cables down to the control box under the passenger seat. i then ran a power cable from the fusebox direct to the control box ( Ignition powered ).

I also looked at the xtrons, but I could not find any safety info about them. IE will they snap off in a crash. As headrest are a safety feature, surely replacements should be built to a certain standard MY12 RRS HSE

Is it possible to install the digital TV tuner to a Sport with rear entertainment screens in the headrests but without TV function?

A 2014 Autobiography I'm thinking of buying was factory ordered with the entertainment but strangely opted not to bother with TV.

I believe it can but not cheap to buy all the parts

What parts will i need please, is it likely to have the wiring harness already or will thst be part of the retroft?

What about aftermarket options?
