As you have a SE model I suggest before you do much to check to see if you have any of the relevant wiring in place, also has your rear spoiler got the aperture for the camera as if not then you would also need the spoiler as if I remember correctly L/R never did a spoiler with a blanking plug in the hole it was either there or not. Wiring in a camera is basically quite simple with the standard camera a live feed from the reverse light and a earth lead plus coax cable from camera to front screen, if you have the coax and power cable up in the roof at the rear there is a short fly lead available from L/R to connect the camera from the spoiler to the main roof harness.

Hi mate thanks for a quick reply, the spoiler has the square bit in it that I can get cut out & fit the camera I got a price from lr for a camera & the bracket that holds it in the spoiler. I went on the head unit where you can see what is connected & for camera it says not installed I was hoping the wiring loom is the same just mine doesn’t have the extras plugged in. I will check 2moz & see if there are any bits to plug it in, am I right in thinking it will be in the head lining? If I do have that part of the loom is it just plug & play or does it need to be configured once installed?

If it’s of interest I have my spoiler etc off the car so I can replace my reverse camera. Even if you don’t have the relevant wires, the coax and cables are cheap to buy from LR but it does mean lots of interior stripping to locate the wires. See my thread on surround camera retro fit. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

Hi thank you for the response, I have contacted LR who were not helpful at all for part numbers or anything really. Do you have any pictures on what I need to look for in head lining or part numbers to buy, I’m only after the rear camera not surround like you have done that is way over my head!! How do I get the CCF updated to allow rear camera if I ever manage to get that far?

I’ll get some photos of various parts as an aid. I also have the wiring diagram which is a real must.

You may need one of these, it's the jumper lead from camera through spoiler to main harness in roof/headlining, make sure you get LR016142 as the LR016141 is for the surround camera if I remember correctly. You may find it listed for a L322 fullfat but it is the one I used when I fitted a genuine A/B rear spoiler complete with camera to a pre-facelift HST. Wiring it in was quite simple. Reverse feed and Earth taken for N/S rear light unit, long co-ax cable with Fakra connectors off Amazon via a Gvif unit as I also fitted TV to the front screen, in your case you may not need the Gvif unit.
