has anyone come across or does anyone have a tesla style unit in their RRS l320?

if someone has already purchased or made one i have questions for you so i can do the same to mine (replace the radio and heater controls with a single touch screen)

do you know if the plugs on the rear of the radio and the heater controls are the same for that dash model as they were for the original dash model?
i have an 07 rrs with the big square unit

hopefully the plugs are the same for it. then its plug and play with a little creative instal.

Benmarch, I've not seen anything that replaces the stereo and heater controls that would work.

I know Seicane offer various 10.4-12.2" screens that fit Japanese models, but, the problem is the decoding and canbus from what I understand.

Now I got an 8.8" Android HU installed in lieu of the OEM Stereo, but haven't got further than that to be honest. The problem is the large screen units cost a small fortune and without having some degree of certainty that they work it's a lot of money wasted.

The first link MrLuke posted looks promising, but, the Mk1 and Mk1.5s used different Canbus systems so I doubt it would work. It also doesn't control the HVAC from what I can see.
