Open bonnet, ignition on, service menu, oil level display, press (cruise) cancel twice quickly.

or just turn ignition on scroll down to service menu & click on oil level,,,,but remember it wont show the level for about 15 minutes if the engine has been running & you need to have the car on fairly level ground.

^ lol,,i just look under the car every morning & if their isn't any oil on the floor I know its still in the sump

Andy, it definitely works. This is my biggest gripe about the L494. I have on numerous occasions turned off the ignition and waited 10 to 15 mins and get a message that no reading is available. It used to drive me nuts! Jas Current RRS: MY18 SVR Previous RRS: MY15 RRS 5.0L Autobiography |
