Checking oil on L494

I have seen the post on here but cannot seem to find it? Can someone let me know how to check the oil on the RRS without having to wait the ten mins after switching the car off or move it & wait again when the system won’t work?

Ie how they do it in the dealership.

Open bonnet, ignition on, service menu, oil level display, press (cruise) cancel twice quickly.

This should display

or just turn ignition on scroll down to service menu & click on oil level,,,,but remember it wont show the level for about 15 minutes if the engine has been running & you need to have the car on fairly level ground.

Andy, it definitely works. This is my biggest gripe about the L494. I have on numerous occasions turned off the ignition and waited 10 to 15 mins and get a message that no reading is available. It used to drive me nuts!
