United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Zermatt Silver
RRS gone!

Very sad to report I have traded my 2005 HSE TDV6 for another car.

I have had the RRS for about two years and ran it alongside my 2008 BMW 5 series Touring as a hobby/camping trip/cycle carrier car. But I have retired now and need to reduce my outgoings so the RRS had to go. My son has bought the BM from me and I am now running a 5 year old E class estate.

I have had the RRS serviced, a couple of glow plugs and a brake pipe replaced and that is it. No breakdowns, warning lights, suspension issues, engine problems, MOT advisories or corrosion, it has been perfect and a very nice and comfortable way to travel. And I averaged around 30 mpg, pretty good for such a large car.

A couple of things irritated me about the car, the rear passenger lighting, the rear passenger headrests and the way the rear passenger seat leather creased when in 'van' mode but these are pretty minor really. All in all a great car which will be missed.

Finally, this is a great forum and I shall drop in from time to see how you are all doing. Thankyou Thumbs Up

England 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Rimini Red

It's not good for tall drivers that the front seats need to be so far forward when in Van mode Confused

I do wonder whether I would have purchased one of these if I had known that.
Ok for short trips to the tip.

Even having the passenger side read seat down limits the drivers seat Censored How stupid !
