Is there a company that will supply, cut and programme a key for a RRS 2006 online?

I found one in East London ut I would have to drive there. £95

You can get a blade cut on eBay from a photo for £12 ish

Better than nothing and a start.

Sometime we get the rest from eBay china
And require programming. And most of the time they work.

I don’t think it can be done online ?
When I had mine done , I had to take the car and the working key
They program both keys , and flash the ecu at the same time Thumbs Up

Just a thought £95 seems very reasonable, I paid £160 and that was 2 years ago Thumbs Up

I would be a bit worried about sending a photo of a key along with my home address etc to anybody I didn’t know, over the internet.......... I think an insurance company wouldn’t think too highly about it either if your car disappeared off your drive or from the streets near your house because you had basically handed them a copy of the key....... 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Dont think you send them your address but as i said only saw a thread on sister site and it was a person from the forum Thumbs Up

I was in the same predicament. Timsons will get you a key made up, but it ultimately comes from the dealer ! - I asked.

I bought a case from the bay but nobody was interested in cutting the blade.

I found an excellent online service which supplied a blade cut via a photo from this forum.

Already had the IID tool, but programming kept failing. So after a lot of hassle, I'm no further forward.
I use the passenger side to unlock the door and hit the dash switch.

It's only the blade part that comes through the post. It can't start the engine from it.

Compared with modern keyless cars being stolen from your drive it's a very minor risk!
