Its the switch under the shroud over number plate. They get corroded and stp working. You can either take it apart and clean and give it a dose of WD40. I did that to one of my RRS and it was ok over two years when i sold it. Or to replace the switch cost about £22 on E bay itisme |

Hi my glass tailgate switch stopped working, replaced the switch with a new one still nothing! Local dealer has said there is probably a broke wire in the loom so has advised to buy a new glass tailgate, seems crazy but can't work out how a new look would be fitted!!! Can it??? |

how do you get the old catch out when you carn't open the top section so as to fit a new one in its place |
